Davoud Jafari

Davoud Jafari is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Design, Production and Management (DPM) at the Faculty of Engineering Technology, University of Twente. He focuses on developing advanced materials for energy applications through additive manufacturing and thermal engineering techniques.

Education:

• Ph.D. in Thermal Engineering, University of Pisa (2016)

Research Interests: Davoud's work centers on synthesizing and characterizing innovative materials for next-generation energy systems, including metal matrix composites and multiscale porous materials. His research integrates fabrication physics, thermal conductivity, and heat engineering for applications in energy conversion, storage, and heat pipe technologies, spanning terrestrial and space domains.
