Davina Rauhaus

Davina Rauhaus (née Hartmann) is a Researcher at the Service Operations department of the Mercator School of Management at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Since 2018, she has focused on dynamic pricing, revenue management, and customer choice behavior in transportation and service industries.

• Education: B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering with specialization in Electrical Engineering (University of Duisburg-Essen, 2012-2018)

Her research explores dynamic pricing strategies, ancillary service optimization, and customer choice modeling using advanced analytics and simulation methods. Recent work analyzes nested logit models for seat pricing and data-driven upselling in airlines.

Her publications and conference presentations (EURO 2024, OR 2023, Dynamo Workshop) focus on transforming booking data into actionable revenue management strategies.
