David Z. Albert is the Frederick J. E. Woodbridge Professor of Philosophy at Columbia University and director of the Philosophical Foundations of Physics M.A. Program. He holds a B.S. in Physics from Columbia College (1976) and a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from The Rockefeller University (1981).
