David Y. Han

David Y. Han is an Associate Professor and Extension Specialist in Turfgrass Management at Auburn University. Based in the Crop, Soil & Environmental Sciences department, he develops sustainable turf management practices for golf courses, sod farms, athletic fields, and homeowners. His applied research focuses on reducing high-risk pesticide use through environmentally friendly techniques.

He teaches Advanced Turfgrass Management and supports Alabama extension agents through training programs and publications. Han serves as educational advisor to the Alabama Turfgrass Association and contributes to professional organizations including Golf Course Superintendents chapters.
