David Wood serves as Chair of Modern Languages and Associate Professor of Spanish at Millsaps College since 2014. He teaches Spanish language courses, advanced literature, and Hispanic film studies, with a specialization in the Spanish Civil War's representation in media. His research focuses on Spanish cultural history, gender studies, and early 20th-century artistic movements.
