David Weiss

David Weiss is a Professor in the Department of Communication & Journalism at the University of New Mexico (UNM). He earned his Ph.D. at UNM in 2005 and teaches courses in strategic communication, political communication, and media studies. His research focuses on media discourse, political and religious communication, and intersections of media with societal institutions like politics, religion, and race.
