About
David Trubatch is an Associate Professor in the School of Computing at Montclair State University's College of Science and Mathematics. He holds a BS from the University of Chicago, an MS from New York University, and a PhD from the University of Colorado, Boulder. His research focuses on computational modeling of ferrofluids, multiphase flows, and bacterial colony development. He has secured NSF grants for high-performance computing infrastructure and multiphysics simulations. His work bridges fluid dynamics, materials science, and mathematical biology.
Research interests include nanotechnology-driven ferrofluid behavior, magnetic fluid dynamics, and educational strategies for PDE modeling. Grants include MRI projects for GPU clusters and imaging systems for complex fluids. Collaborations involve interdisciplinary teams addressing computational challenges in fluid dynamics and biological systems.
