David Tran

David Tran is Associate Professor and Division Chief of Neuro-Oncology at USC's Keck School of Medicine, with joint appointments in Neurological Surgery and Neurology. As Co-Director of the USC Brain Tumor Center, his research applies computational systems biology to develop novel glioblastoma therapies. His lab focuses on vertically integrated approaches from clinical observation to experimental validation.

Key research programs include: gene therapy using AAV vectors; in situ immunization strategies combining Tumor Treating Fields with immunotherapy; and targeting tumor dormancy in metastatic breast cancer. The lab maintains active industry collaborations and NIH-funded clinical trials.
