David Swick is an Associate Professor in the Department of Journalism at the University of King's College. He holds a BA from Skidmore College and an MFA from Goucher College. His career spans over 20 years as a journalist before transitioning to academia, with extensive work in CBC Radio documentaries, TV documentaries, and print journalism. He currently leads research on narrative nonfiction truth practices in collaboration with Ivor Shapiro of Ryerson University.
