David Steven Jacoby

David Steven Jacoby is an Adjunct Associate Professor at New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business and Tandon School of Engineering, where he teaches Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. He is also a Senior Fellow at Boston University’s Institute for Global Sustainability and a former adjunct professor at Boston University’s Questrom Graduate School of Business. Jacoby’s career spans over 30 years in supply chain consulting, advising Fortune 500 companies, governments, and investors on decarbonization, AI-driven logistics, and global supply chain resilience.

He holds an MBA and MA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Practitioner (CSCP) and Certified in Transportation & Logistics (CTL). His research focuses on energy, automotive, transport, and retail sectors, emphasizing sustainability and digital transformation.

As founder of Boston Strategies International, Jacoby advises clients on supply chain decarbonization and global strategy. He serves on advisory boards for entities like New York Energy Week and has contributed to over 250 speeches, articles, and webcasts. His books include Retooling America for AI-Driven Supply Chains and Getting to Net Zero.
