David Stark is the Arthur Lehman Professor of Sociology and International Affairs at Columbia University, where he directs the Center on Organizational Innovation. His research focuses on economic sociology, network theory, innovation dynamics, and post-socialism, with seminal contributions to understanding accounts of worth in economic life. He recently published The Sense of Dissonance: Accounts of Worth in Economic Life (Princeton University Press).
