David Solnet

David Solnet serves as Professor of Service Management and Service Work at the University of Queensland Business School. He researches service organizations with focus on employee-customer interactions, workforce development in tourism/hospitality, and generational differences in work attitudes.

His applied research examines relationships between management practices, employee attitudes, and organizational performance. Recent projects focus on pandemic impacts on service workers, sustainable tourism employment, and digital transformation in service industries.
