David Shin

David Shin is a Lecturer of Finance at the University of Oklahoma's Price College of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Washington and previously served as a visiting professor at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. His research focuses on corporate finance, ESG integration, and banking sector dynamics.

• Education: Ph.D. in Finance (University of Washington, 2021); M.S. in Finance (Korea University); B.A. in Business Administration (Korea University).

His research explores ESG's impact on financial markets, banking practices, and corporate lending. Notable projects include analyzing sustainability-linked loans and ESG shifts in loan costs. His work has been recognized with the SWFA Best Paper Award and FMA semi-finalist status.
