David Searle

Dr. David Searle is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton's School of Architecture and Built Environment, Faculty of Science and Engineering. With industrial experience from Tarmac Construction Ltd and TBV Stangers Ltd, he brings practical expertise in materials testing and environmental consultancy to his academic role.

His research focuses on construction sustainability, historic stone preservation, and digital analysis of materials. Recent work examines pollution-induced building degradation and concrete composition analysis through image processing. Key publication themes include:
