David S. Markenson

David S. Markenson is a Professor at New York Medical College's School of Health Sciences and Practice, where he co-founded the Center for Disaster Medicine (CDM) in 2005 and currently serves as its Director. He is also the Senior Associate Dean for Research and Medical Director of the Center of Excellence in Precision Responses to Bioterrorism and Disasters. His career spans academic leadership, clinical practice, and healthcare administration across institutions like Sky Ridge Medical Center and Hospital Corporation of America.
