David Rusbasan

David Rusbasan is a Clinical Professor and Director of the I/O Master's Program in the Department of Psychology at Indiana University. His research focuses on Industrial/Organizational Psychology, addressing topics like toxic coaching, workplace stress, sexual harassment, and weight stigma. He holds a Ph.D. (2010) and M.S. (2004) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Connecticut, and a B.A. in Psychology from Marian University (2000).

Research interests include understanding burnout in student-athletes, perceptions of psychology as a science, and stigma in social relationships. His work bridges organizational dynamics with mental health, emphasizing practical applications in workplace and academic settings.

Publications span topics from supervisor support mechanisms to mixed-weight relationship dynamics, reflecting a commitment to both empirical and applied research. He is affiliated with the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
