David Rosenberg is the Lee S. Kreindler Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. He joined the faculty part-time in 1971 and full-time in 1979. His work spans constitutional law, labor law, criminal law, federal courts, torts, environmental law, civil procedure, and litigation, with a focus on policy-oriented approaches to complex litigation and mass torts.

His research pioneers probabilistically proportioned liability, class action frameworks, and socially responsible civil liability design. Recent collaborations include analyzing attorney fee benchmarking (2024) and healthcare insurer roles in medical device regulation (2022).
