David Rose

Professor David Rose holds the Elizabeth Creak Chair in Sustainable Agricultural Change at Harper Adams University. He directs the Centre for Social Science and leads the Engaging for Change research group. His work focuses on navigating agricultural transitions through interdisciplinary approaches, addressing challenges like mental health in farming communities, technology adoption, and inclusive policy design.

Dr. Rose holds degrees from the University of Cambridge (Bachelors, Masters, PhD). His research explores human behavior change, just transitions in food systems, and co-design methodologies for post-Brexit agricultural policy. He has contributed to over 80 academic publications since 2014 and advises international bodies like FAO and OECD.
