David Reid

David Reid is a Clinical Associate Professor of Business Law at Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business, specializing in the Department of Accounting and Business Law. With two decades of industry and private practice experience, his expertise spans strategic transactions, e-commerce and technology law, international law, securities law, joint ventures, complex investment transactions, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and long-term multi-party technology deals.

• Education: JD from University of Arizona, BS in Business Administration from University of Nevada, Las Vegas

His research focuses on Business Law, International Law, and Corporate Governance, with a particular emphasis on legal frameworks for strategic transactions and technology deals. While limited to one publication in the Arizona Law Review (1994), his work on dissenters' rights highlights critical gaps in judicial approaches to interest awards.
