David Meinberg

David Meinberg is a PhD Candidate in Systematic Theology at the University of Edinburgh, specializing in Herman Bavinck’s public theology. He currently serves as a Tutor in the School of Divinity and the Edinburgh Futures Institute, alongside roles in Residence Life and Student Housing. His research bridges theology, science, and societal issues.

Research interests include Bavinck’s doctrine of God, interdisciplinary theology, and ethics in technology. He explores how theological foundations address contemporary challenges like AI ethics and social reconciliation. Recent work focuses on gender and repair-oriented public theology.

Teaching includes courses on Christian theology, philosophy-science-religion interfaces, and urban interdisciplinary studies. He has delivered papers at major conferences such as the Kuyper Conference and the Bavinck Centennial Congress.
