David Mateos is an ICREA Research Professor at the Department of Quantum Physics and Astrophysics, Faculty of Physics, University of Barcelona, since July 2008. His academic journey includes a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Barcelona (2000) and postdoctoral positions at Cambridge University (UK), Perimeter Institute (Canada), and University of California at Santa Barbara (USA).
