Prof. David M. Anderson is a Professor of African History at the University of Warwick’s Global History & Culture Centre. He specializes in African political history, colonialism, and socio-economic transformations in the Global South. Anderson is a leading scholar on East Africa, with notable works analyzing colonial counter-insurgency strategies and postcolonial state dynamics.
