David M Newman serves as a Lecturer in Business Law at California State University, Northridge, where he has taught various Business Law courses since 2013. While maintaining his academic position, he also operates a full-time legal practice as Of Counsel at The Internet Law Group, a boutique law firm in Los Angeles.
His legal expertise spans complex commercial transactions, fraud, defamation, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, unfair competition, and employment law. Newman has extensive courtroom experience, having handled numerous jury and non-jury trials, and has submitted appeals to the California Courts of Appeal and Supreme Court, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
