David Letts

David Letts is an Associate Professor at the University of Wollongong, affiliated with the Australian National Centre for Ocean Resources and Security (ANCORS) within the Faculty of Business and Law. His research focuses on international law, maritime security, and naval warfare, with recent contributions to publications like the Newport Manual on the Law of Naval Warfare and studies on maritime drones in warfare. He actively supervises PhD candidates exploring topics such as Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) in the Western Pacific and legal aspects of naval warfare in the South China Sea.
