David Latimer

David Latimer is a Professor of Physics at the University of Puget Sound. His research focuses on nuclear and particle theory with an emphasis on neutrino phenomenology and dark matter studies. He has analyzed neutrino oscillations using experimental data and explored neutrinos traversing Earth's interior.

• Educated at Vanderbilt University (BA) and the University of Oxford (MSc, DPhil)

His recent work includes the Electromagnetic Interactions of Majorana Fermions, contributing to understanding particle properties in cosmological contexts. Publications include "Optical dispersion of composite particles consisting of millicharged constituents" (2016). Teaching responsibilities cover electricity and magnetism, quantum mechanics, and general relativity.
