His research explores the intersection of human bodies, music, and historical context. Key areas include Chopin’s relationship with disease, sensory perception in music (particularly dining-related), and interdisciplinary connections between music, philosophy, and medical humanities. He has investigated Chopin’s compositional processes, the influence of opera on his works, and the cultural reception of music in the 19th century.
Recent publications analyze Chopin’s nocturne melodies, his engagement with Romanticism, and the role of ballet and opera in shaping his music. His work bridges historical analysis with contemporary interdisciplinary frameworks, particularly in understanding how medical and sensory experiences influence musical creation and reception.
