Dr David Jordan is a Lecturer in Economics at Queen's Business School, Queen's University Belfast. He serves as Research Associate at The Productivity Institute and Queen's University Centre for Economic History, and as Associate Fellow of the Queen's University Institute of Irish Studies.
Research Interests: His work focuses on regional economics, public economics, and economic history - particularly examining Northern Ireland's productivity challenges and fiscal federalism dynamics since devolution. Current research investigates productivity gaps through the Northern Ireland Productivity Forum lens.
Key Contributions: Regularly contributes to policy debates through commissioned reports and media engagements. Active in knowledge transfer through CPD workshops for Northern Ireland Civil Service.
