David John Eldridge is a Professor at UNSW Sydney's School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences, with an adjunct position at UNSW. His research focuses on human-induced land use impacts in drylands, linking land-use change to environmental change. He serves as a Senior Principal Research Scientist at the New South Wales Office of Environment and Heritage and contributes to international projects in Iran, China, and Spain.
