David Jackson

David Jackson is a Professor in the Department of Political Science at Bowling Green State University's College of Arts and Sciences. His research examines the relationship between entertainment media and political preferences, organized labor strategies, Canadian politics, and Polish-American identity. He earned his B.A. from the University of Detroit, M.A. from BGSU, and Ph.D. from Wayne State University.

Dr. Jackson's research interests span American politics, political behavior, media influence, and Canadian government systems. His recent publications analyze celebrity political endorsements, voter behavior surveys, and ethnic identity formation.

His 15 most recent articles predominantly focus on electoral surveys, political polling methodologies, and cultural identity studies. The methodological approaches include large-scale voter surveys, expert analyses, and case studies examining celebrity influence on politics.
