David J. Brennan is a Professor and Associate Dean, Research at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto. He leads the CRUISE Lab, focusing on HIV/AIDS, sexual health, and LGBTQIA+ health disparities. His research emphasizes marginalized communities, including Two-Spirit, gay, and bisexual men, exploring resilience, body image, and healthcare access. He has held prestigious awards, including the Excellence in Research Award (2018) and the Ontario HIV Treatment Network Chair (2014-2019).
