David Hwang

David Hwang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Stony Brook University. He is affiliated with the Advanced Energy Research & Technology Center and leads the Laser Thermal Engineering Laboratory (Laser Solar PV Lab). His research focuses on micro/nanoscale heat transfer and laser-assisted materials processing for applications in solar energy, nanotechnology, and energy-efficient manufacturing.
