David Hudgens

David Hudgens serves as Clinical Associate Professor of International Business at the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business, bringing thirty-plus years of international experience in education, research, counseling, and cross-sectoral consulting for governments and global institutions.

He also studies globalization's impact on educational evolution and economic development patterns.

Dr. Hudgens directs Honors College student theses while leading the Responsible International Leadership (RIL) program with ESSEC Business School and International Business & Chinese Enterprise (IBCE) program with Chinese University of Hong Kong. As principal investigator, he coordinates multinational research on poverty alleviation and edits digital international business case curricula for global academic use.

He maintains active partnerships with Tecnologico de Monterrey (Mexico), Foreign Trade University (Vietnam), National Taiwan Normal University, and Beijing Language and Culture University, integrating these networks into graduate courses like Transition Economies in Southeast Asia.
