David Hornik

David Hornik is a Lecturer at Stanford University (School of Engineering, Business School, and Law School) and Harvard Law School, teaching courses on entrepreneurship, venture capital, and legal writing. He is also a Founding Partner at Lobby Capital, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm, and formerly a General Partner at August Capital. His career spans over 25 years supporting technology entrepreneurs, with investments in software, fintech, and consumer services. He actively contributes to technology communities through initiatives like TEDxStanford, VentureBlog, and the Lobby Conferences.

David holds a BA in Computer Music from Stanford, an MPhil in Criminology from Cambridge University, and a JD from Harvard Law School.
