
About
David Harpp is the Tomlinson Chair of Science Education and a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at McGill University. He holds an A.B. from Middlebury College (1959), M.A. from Wesleyan University (1962), Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina (1965), and was a Research Associate at Cornell University (1965-1966).
His research focuses on chemical education, synthesis, and catalysis, with ongoing teaching responsibilities for CHEM 181 (World of Chemistry: Food), CHEM 183 (World of Chemistry: Drugs), and BIOT 505 (Selected Topics in Biotechnology).
Professor Harpp has received numerous prestigious awards including:
