David Gras is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship at the Haslam College of Business, University of Tennessee. He serves as the CSEE Director and holds the Dr. Ed Boling Business Faculty Fellow title. His research explores the antecedents of business performance and competitive advantage, with a focus on corporate social responsibility, social entrepreneurship, and strategic decisions in new ventures.

Dr. Gras has taught courses in entrepreneurship (including opportunity recognition and values-centered entrepreneurship) and strategic management at the University of Connecticut, Syracuse University, and Texas Christian University. His research has earned recognition through grants and awards, including the Insight Development Grant and EGOS Best Paper Finalist distinction.
