About
David Goldberg is a Lecturer in the Department of Physics at Queens College - CUNY. His research focuses on photonics, nanomaterials, and quantum optics, with particular emphasis on photonic bandgap microcavities, plasmonic nanoantennas, and exciton-polariton phenomena. He holds a B.S. and M.A. in Physics and Mathematics from Queens College (2006, 2010), and a Ph.D. in Physics from The Graduate Center, CUNY (2012).
His publications span topics including nanocrystal fluorescence in microcavities, coupled-microcavity transparency mechanisms, and singlet exciton fission solar cells. Recent work includes studies on ZnO nanoparticle polaritons and quantum dot-based photonic devices. Goldberg teaches courses such as General Physics I, Intro to Scientific Computing, and Computational Methods in Physics.
