David Garfinkle

David Garfinkle is an Assistant Professor in MacEwan University's Department of Communications, holding a PhD in critical and historiographic cultural studies. His multidisciplinary background spans performance arts, yoga instruction, community development, and communications theory.

His research explores:

• Screenwriting and dramaturgical practices

Dr. Garfinkle applies theoretical frameworks from Marxism, feminism, and poststructuralism to analyze contemporary communication practices.
