David Gadd

David Gadd is Professor of Criminology at University of Manchester with 25+ years researching offenders through psychosocial approaches. Studies domestic abuse perpetrators, modern slavery offenders, and racially motivated crime.

Author of books including 'Psychosocial Criminology', 'Young Men and Domestic Abuse', and 'Demystifying Modern Slavery'. Leads ESRC projects on trafficking offenders and vulnerability. Developed Greater Manchester's Gender-Based Violence Strategy.

Honored as ESRC Impact Prize Finalist for policy influence. Serves on violence prevention boards and edits British Journal of Criminology. Research employs narrative methods to understand criminal trajectories.
