Dr. David Friesem is an Affiliated Lecturer in Geoarchaeology at the Department of Archaeology (University of Cambridge) and an Honorary Research Associate at the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research. He also holds a position at the Department of Maritime Civilizations, School of Archaeology and Maritime Cultures at the University of Haifa.
