David Flude

David Flude is an Associate Professor and Director of the DBA program at Anglia Ruskin University, affiliated with the Faculty of Business and Law and School of Management. His expertise lies in collaborative ventures in the public sector, particularly focusing on strategic management, organizational behavior, and transcultural relativism.

Research interests center on the management of Blue Light organizations (emergency services), collaborative ventures, corporate cultures, and strategic benefits realization. His work explores how cross-cultural dynamics and organizational structures impact public sector collaboration.

Recent publications analyze transcultural relativism’s role in public sector collaboration, including studies on Phase 2 New Public Management and performance gains. These works emphasize intercultural challenges and practical outcomes in governmental partnerships.

David supervises PhD students in areas like Leadership in Public Organizations and Corporate Culture, while also serving as an external examiner for the University of Hertfordshire. He has led international consultancy projects in Russia, China, Malaysia, and Trinidad and participates in the Eastern New Energy decarbonisation research program.
