David Finn

David Finn is a Professor of Studio Art (Sculpture) at Wake Forest University. His work focuses on conceptual sculpture addressing historical and spatial contexts, with a strong emphasis on public art and interdisciplinary fabrication techniques. He teaches courses such as Public Art (Art 215), Sculpture Fabrication (Art 216), Bodies and Objects (Art 225), and Installation Art (Art 226).

His research interests include the relationship between art and location, the body as a sculptural form, and the synthesis of technical skills with creative expression. Notable projects include large-scale public installations like Sculptural Climbing Wall (2009) and Newspaper Children (1989).
