David Fan

Dr. David Fan is a Professor of Management in the School of Management at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. Prior to his migration to Australia, he worked as a financial accountant in an international real estate group. He completed his PhD in International Management at Monash University (Clayton Campus) in 2010, with additional doctoral-level methodology training at the Australian National University in 2006. His research focuses on international human resource management, international strategic management, technology-human interactions, and multinationals from emerging economies. He currently serves as an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Human Resource Management and Asia Pacific Journal of Human Resources, and on editorial boards for several other journals. He is open to supervising Masters Research or PhD students in areas such as the impact of cultural differences on job satisfaction and institutional investors' influence on firm value.
