David Eichert

David Eichert is a PhD candidate in International Relations at LSE and adjunct professor of international relations at the American University of Paris. His research focuses on international law, sexual violence in conflict, and gender/queer theory, with particular attention to the Rohingya genocide and colonial legal frameworks. He holds a JD from Cornell Law School and an MA from New York University.

His research bridges poststructuralist theory with legal practice, examining how gendered narratives shape international justice mechanisms. He has been a visiting scholar at Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and currently serves on Millennium: Journal of International Studies' editorial board.
