David Easter

Dr. David Easter is Lecturer in War Studies and Academic Director for War Studies Online at King's College London. He holds a PhD in International History from LSE and specializes in Cold War intelligence history, British foreign policy, and communications security. His current research examines Soviet involvement in Indonesia during the Cold War, including military operations during the West Irian Crisis.

Easter teaches modules on intelligence history and contemporary warfare. His publications analyze signals intelligence evolution, diplomatic cipher systems, and Cold War espionage tactics. He supervises PhD research on naval intelligence history and contributes to the King's Centre for the Study of Intelligence.
