David Cuberes

David Cuberes is a Professor of Economics at Clark University, where he has been since 2015. He holds a PhD from the University of Chicago (2005) and has taught at institutions including Clemson University, Royal Holloway (UK), and the University of Sheffield. His research focuses on urban economics, economic growth, and gender inequality. He consults for the World Bank, IMF, and Inter-American Development Bank.

Research highlights include analyzing city growth dynamics, the impact of gender gaps on macroeconomic performance, and historical studies on Native American horse adoption's effects. Grants include the Urban Faculty Fellowship (2024–2025) and a Clark University research grant (2022–2023).
