David Coyle is an Associate Professor in Human-Computer Interaction at University College Dublin's School of Computer Science. He holds leadership roles such as Chair of the PhD Stage Transfer Committee and co-Principal Investigator for d-real, a national research center. His research focuses on digital health technologies, particularly mental health interventions and user agency. Coyle earned a PhD in Human Computer Interaction from Trinity College Dublin, with prior roles at the University of Bristol and University of Cambridge.
