David Brydan

David Brydan is Senior Lecturer in the History of Modern International Relations at King's College London and current Senior Tutor in the History department. His research examines twentieth-century internationalism, intelligence history, and modern Spanish history, with current book projects on the history of intelligence and international humanitarianism.

His monograph Franco's Internationalists (2019) received international attention, and he co-edited Internationalists in European History (2021). Brydan writes for public audiences in outlets including El País and engages with history teachers through the Historical Association.
