David Brady is a Professor at the Stanford University Business School and Deputy Director of the Hoover Institution. He earned his doctorate in 1970 and has previously taught at Kansas State, Houston, and Rice before joining Stanford in 1986. His research explores the connections between elections, institutions (particularly legislatures), and public policy.
