David Bosch is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychology at New York University's Department of Psychology, part of the College of Arts & Science. He holds a B.A. (2007), M.A. (2012), and Ph.D. (2019) from NYU. His research focuses on cognitive structuring principles, spatial/environmental representation, category formation, and applications to public policy/consumer behavior. Recent work explores fear generalization mechanisms, organ donation decision-making, and inductive reasoning patterns.
Teaching includes Research Methods and Experience, Consumer Research Methods, and Consumer Behavior courses. His publications (2017-2024) span topics like outgroup fear dynamics, probabilistic learning, and contrast set effects. Bosch's work bridges theoretical psychology with practical insights for policy and consumer insights.
