David Blehar

David Blehar, MD is a Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UMass Chan Medical School and holds an additional position in the Ultrasound Division at the T.H. Chan School of Medicine. He completed his BS in Biology at Brandeis University and earned his MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

His research focuses on advancing point-of-care ultrasound applications in emergency medicine, including resuscitation protocols for cardiac arrest, diagnostic accuracy of ultrasound in abscesses and pneumothorax, and hemodynamic monitoring.
